These are required for the app to work, so they do not need consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. They contain no advertising identifiers.

• Authentication session. Stored by our authentication provider to keep you signed in securely and to refresh your session. Cleared when you sign out.
• Your cookie choice. A small record of the decision you make below, so we do not ask again on every visit.
• Interface preferences. Small values such as whether you dismissed the install prompt or a trial reminder.
• Security and load balancing. Short-lived values set by our hosting and payment providers to protect against fraud and abuse during sign-in and checkout.

We would like to understand which features families actually use, so we can improve the ones that matter. Analytics are not switched on at all unless you accept them: no identifier is created and no event is sent while consent is absent or refused. When you do accept, we record only a small list of milestones — such as visiting the homepage, completing registration or creating a family — against a random identifier stored on your own device. This is measured by us, on our own servers; it is never shared with an advertising network. Analytics never include names, children's details, task or homework content, or any financial amounts.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track your family across other websites.

You can change your mind whenever you like — refusing or withdrawing consent has no effect on how HOME works for your family.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and stop the app from working properly.
